Teach for Us

We are always looking for qualified faculty to teach for 49 Writers. If you are a published writer with teaching experience and a passion for your craft, we want to hear from you! If you have expertise pertaining to other aspects of writing and the writing life, let's talk.

PROPOSING A COURSE 

First, review our Instructor's Guidelines (see document below).

Next, complete and submit a Course Proposal Form.

Proposal deadlines:

  • Spring season (February-March) - November 15
  • Fall season (October-November) - June 15

Occasionally we will offer a class or two in summer, and proposals are considered on a case-by-case basis. These proposals are due by March 15.  Feel free to contact us for more information.
